Gentle Giants

Well i am sitting here MOnday morn and listening to some music, and it brought a memory back from Moronis Quest back in 2009..If any of you ever get asked to be a part of this ..... DO IT!!!!

k just a lil timeline, ty has been struggling in the gospel, but his gospel buddies have remained and tried to keep him going, and loving him all the way...I was hoping with all hope for ty to come to Moronis Quest but he did not...

so one of the acts was of the Stripling Warriors and i so was touched by the spirit, because this story has alwys been a story for me and Ty... i would always call him my Stripling warrior and tell him to fight the good fight.. well after these boys of about 150 were lead down a mountainside towards us with Helaman leading them On horseback the tears began to swell, i watched as Mothers placed medallions around there necks and blessed them before battle, my heart was so full of the Spirit and love for all those boys out there... Two for sure and that was Matt Karl and Brett Lepard, these two boys love ty unconditional and ty does know it... well after the youth sang sisters in Zion and army of Helaman medley they all received there letters from their parents... that whole hillside was bawling with teenagers, and parents sitting down low.... well each child one by one came down and hugged their parents... on one instance a Dad who is not a member saw his son and ventured up the hill to sit beside him and hold him.... ahhhh the Spirit what a sweet sweet gift we have.. so as i said ty was not there, but tap tap on my back i look up and there is Matt and Brett and Dexter.... so i stood up and they hugged me and told me how much they loved me and how greatful they were for ty and that they hoped one day he would be back.... oh man.. bawl bawl bawl bawl..... Dexter was not a friend of tys but i was a friend of his moms and he just hugged me for the example i was to him.... (i didnt know he was watching)   sooooo this is my though for the day... i hope it has lightened your load or touched you in some way cause it will always be a memory for me...
